Human Resources Department

The Human Resource Department (under the Corporate Service Group (CGS) is responsible for administering and strengthening policies and procedures for human resource management , training and development , administration, payroll services and records management (including the library).

The services provided by HRD are divided into 3 main functions:

  1. Human Resource Management and Training
  2. Payroll Services
  3. Records Management and Library Services (Information Management)


Human Resource Management and Training:

  • Planning, desinging and evaluation human resource policies, programmes and practices
  • Attract and retain a pool of professional and qualified staff
  • Align, plan and measure staff performance
  • Develop and monitor staff development and training gaps

Payroll Services: 

  • Remunerate staff according to attendance
  • Calculate staff salary and process mandatory and voluntary deductions
  • Close monitoring of staff attendance daily
  • Calculate separate payments

 Records Management and Library Services: 

  • Host a centralized records system for the Bank
  • Receive and deliver all official correspondences
  • Manage all official records using a formalized system of filing, retention and destruction of records
  • Manage library services and materials to facilitate in-house research
